With the radius of only 2.2" (5.5 cm) and height of 2.5" (6.5 cm) expanded, this is a very tiny funnel. I can see it being more useful l for fluid rather than engine oil. It's a nice-to-have backup in the car in case of an emergency. It can also be used in the kitchen, but just get a different color than the one you plan to use for the car for obvious reasons.
